Release of Shri Guru Bhagvata vol-ii in English and Hindi at Sai Ka Aangan, Gurgaon on 3rd July 2012 on the Auspicious Guru Purnima day
As the celestial silver sphere smiled on the Earth and flooded it with the glory of the Guru’s blessings, Sai Ka Aangan, Gurgaon was bathed in the resplendent brightness of the full moon on the 3rd of July 2012, Guru Purnima Day. The ambience of the premises was transformed to one of the abode of the merciful Master, where everyone was welcome to soak in the blessings of the Guru and replenish their souls with the fragrance of the beautiful flowers that adorned the House of the Lord.
The occasion was opportune to raise voices and souls in thanksgiving and praise of the Sadguru whose compassion binds all of creation with chords of love. Guru Purnima was celebrated through various offerings and prayers in service of Shri Sainath at the Temple throughout the day. Reverberations of the Guru Mantra chantings touched the souls of all the devotees who visited the Temple to greet their Master on this auspicious day. The loving Baba seemed to enjoy His Paalki ride to the Chawdi, borne by the devotees, who were filled with overflowing zeal to carry out the ritual.
There could be no better occasion than this to express the love of a true disciple for His Master. The evening saw the release of two books written by Shri C.B. Satpathyji- the Hindi and English translations of volume two of Shri Guru Bhagwata, originally written in Odiya. A colourful programme was organized for the books being made public by the Guest of Honour Dr. G. Anupama Kumar,(IAS) Private Secretary to Union Minister of Culture, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Government of India. The programme began with Ms. Jyotsna according a formal welcome to all the guests present for the event, which was followed by the ceremonial lamp being lit by the Guest of Honour. After a floral welcome to the eminent guests Dr. G. Anupama Kumar, Shri A.R. Nanda, Shri Suresh Panda and Smt. T.Y. Das, Ms. Kumkum Bhatia, Managing Trustee of Sai Prakash Spiritual and Charitable Trust, addressed the audience and shared the message sent by the Honourable President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil, who has kindly complimented Shri Satpathyji on His spear heading efforts towards the Sai Movement. The concept of the universe emerging out of the ‘golden egg’ of Brahman, which had split into millions of particles according to the Big Bang theory and as also described by Shri C.B. Satpathyji in His research work Srishtitattwaanuchintanam”, was beautifully depicted through an audio- visual presentation by Shri Karan Rai. The short documentary emphasized the fact that out of the cosmic explosion emerged the Sadgurus who have since then taken us under their care and nurtured us with motherly affection.
Then, it was time for the most awaited moment… the release of the books. The same were offered at the Lotus Feet of Shri Sai Baba by Ms. Bhatia. Dr. G. Anupama Kumar, later expressed her gratitude to Baba for His blessings by giving her the opportunity to release His books. She was overwhelmed by the experience and thanked the Master for being so kind to have given her some kind of work for His cause and for making her an instrument for doing small little things for Him. The essence of a few stanzas from the Shri Guru Bhagwata volume two percolated into the souls of one and all present, through a dance enactment by Harshi Kher and Ahana Rai as the couplets were sung to tune by Shri Snehasish Ray and the voiceover was done by Shri Naresh Wadhawan. Shri A.R. Nandaji addressed the gathering and shared his experiences and views on the journey towards the universal Sai Movement.
Shri C.B.Satpathyji’s kind concern and affection for His devotees was evident through His recorded message on the occasion of Guru Purnima. The audience felt His presence, as Guruji addressed the devotees and explained the concept of various forms of Gurus who guide us in various phases of life. He said, that Guru Purnima is celebrated in respect of the Sadguru, who is believed to be the agent or son of God and can help the lesser souls evolve towards emancipation. The most cherished moment of the day was the appearance of Guruji on screen with the help of technology. Shri Satpathyji was virtually present amidst the audience as He was connected from Houston, through a social networking site and watched the entire event and then addressed and blessed one and all present. The appearance of Guruji and His charming voice mesmerized everyone… what more could one ask for on Guru Purnima Day than to see his Guru and be blessed by Him! The smile on His face outshone the full moon which was in all its glory right overhead.
The celebration ended with the fun filled tradition of Gopal Kala by Dr. G. Anupama Kumar and serving of Langar Prasad.

Sri Jagannath Society of Americas, Nashville Tennessee celebrated its annual Sri Jagannath rath yatra at Sri Ganesh Temple, Nashville, TN on July 9th 2011 and invited Guruji Sri C.B.Satapthy ji as Chief Guest and Key note speaker on the occasion.
Early in the morning the usual pooja and yagya of Sri Jagannath was conducted in the presence of large number of devotees. In the afternoon Sri Prabir Dash and Sri Panchanand Satapathy of Jagannath Society of Americas ceremoniously received Guruji Sri Satpathy ji for pooja of Lord Jagannath in the sanctum sanctorum followed by bhajans by local and visiting artists from Odisha Sri Shantanu Mahapatra and Smt. Sangeetta Gosain.
Following the bhajans, Sri Jagannath was ceremoniously seated in the rath. Chhera Panhara (sweeping the path that the Chariot of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra would take) was done by Guruji Sri C.B. Satapthy ji. After conclusion of the Rath yatra, the deities were seated on the stage in the hall and poooja was performed.
In his address after the pooja, Guruji Sri Saptathy ji highlighted the history and philosophy of Sri Jagannath.
To understand Lord Jagannath one has to understand the broader concept of divinity, He said. All religions the world over believe a few things in common that define in understanding God. Whatever the religion, we believe that there is a supreme reality and sovereign power that rules in time continuum, the perceptible, imperceptible, living, non living, manifested and un-manifested universe called as Parma Brahma, Allah, God, etc. Additionally, we believe that the manifested world of living and non-living emanated from that supreme reality and shall return to the same after the completion of cycle of manifestation.
Since the beginning of time, Human race has been experimenting and experiencing what God means and how everything relates to each other. Referring to God in limited context to our species, planet or our solar system without reference to the billions of galaxies, stars, solar systems, space, etc. is a limited concept of God.
That sovereign power and supreme reality which can not even be imagined is known as the Lord of the Universe, thus the word Jagannath, Lord Jagannath symbolizes that supreme power and is not limited to Puri or one place but is universal.
In Odisha, a small drop of this universal consciousness has snow balled into the very life of Oriyans over period of time encompassing various themes and encasing all forms of expression like poetry, dance, drama, literature, arts, paintings, sculpture, etc. There is no facet of life in Odisha where Lord Jagannath has not penetrated. In fact Lord Jagannath symbolizes Sampoorna Jeevan.
Tracing the history of Lord Jagannath movement, He said
Jagannath Dharma is not Bhagavata Dharma but Bhagavat dharma is part of Jagannath Dharma
Jagannath Dharma is not Vishnu Dharma but Vishnu Dharma is part of Jagannath Dharma
Jagannath Dharma is not Shaiva dharma but Shaiva dharma is part of Jagannath Dharma
Jagannath Dharma is not Shakti but Shakti is part of Jagannath Dharma
Jagannath Dharma is not Neela Madhava but Neela Madhava is part of Jagannath Dharma
Jagannath Dharma is not Buddhism but Buddhism is part of Jagannath Dharma
Jagannath Dharma is not Jainism but Jainism is part of Jagannath Dharma
Jagannath Dharma is not Aryan dharma but Aryan dharma is part of Jagannath Dharma
Jagannath Dharma is the most primordial civilization dharma that assimilated various dharma’s to shape its current form. Lord Jagannath symbolizes Ardh Nageswara. Sri Jagannath is both the Nirgun and Saguna form of the Lord and is a very personalized God.
After Guruji’s address, Dance master Sri Nityananda Das (physically challenged) and his dance partner Sri Bijoy Das performed Odissi dance Pangu langhyate giri. On the completion of the festivities, Chief Guest Shri C.B. Satpathyji was felicitated with presentation of citation by the organizers. The priests and artists were also honored.

Guruji Sri Chandra Bhanu Satpathy Ji at 42nd OSA annual convention held at Dallas, TX USA Jul 1st to Jul 4th 2011.
Inaugurating the forty second annual convention of the Oriya Society of America(OSA) held at Dallas, Texas, USA with invocation to the universal Lord Shri Jaggandha, Guruji Sri Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji said that Sri Lord Jagnnadha is very much part of life for every Oriyan and is the representative and center of Odisa culture. Every Oriyan by birth is a devotee of Lord Jagannadha.
Addressing the gathering of people from a place of rich culture called Odisa, which hosts Konrark temple, Odia dance, etc that are well known all over the world, He said,
we are here not only to relive our culture or to pass on the values to our next generation but also for inter cultural integration with other groups here. Because accepting the best from all other cultures and imbibing them is the essence of evolution of Human society.
Oriyans by nature are very peace loving people who normally don’t express themselves with violence rather they express themselves through various cultural forms like dance, music, art, poetry, writings, etc.
He said, Let us remember that we live together each day as if it is the first and last. If there is any definition of any religion, then it is the greatest good of greatest number of people for the longest period of time and not the greatest good of shortest number of people for the shortest period of time.
In the history of Orissa, that has kept its balance in the past few thousand years it has sustained the peaceful co-existence with various groups and the gathering of various groups here shows that we are a lovable group and teaches us peace, mutual appreciation of society, religions, people and thus we grow.
He lauded the efforts of OSA for maintaining the culture, values and religious traditions of Odisa and passing them along to their children who are growing up outside Odisa. Thanking the organizers and participants for the opportunity to be here, He sought blessings for all.

The objective of this concert was to highlight Baba’s principles and teachings which sum up in some of
Baba showed all, that the path of equality is the essence of humanity.
There is but one God – ‘Allah Malik’.
The universal truth of all spirituality is the practice of humanity.
In this material world we are lost in the labyrinth of intolerance and our life is devoid of spirituality.
The invitees for this show were eminent personalities from the corporate sector, the Government and Celebrities from Bollywood.
The organizers had invited some eminent personalities who spearheaded the Sai movement in diverse ways. Shri C.B.Satpathyjee, who has built more than 230 temples of Shri Sai Baba globally, with many more in their nascent stages, was saluted for His Herculean efforts. Besides, awareness on the life and teachings of Shri Sai has been brought about through literature & music generated by Him. Also group endeavours for the well being of humanity, live participations in Mahakumbh and other melas to cohease together individuals who are attached to Baba, for this Shri Satpathyjee’s contribution to this world of Shirdi Sai Baba is second to none.
Such work of limited nature was done before Him by Shri Narsimaha Swamy who had written about Baba or Antonio Rigopoulos whose research on Baba was to minute details.
The other people who were applauded for spreading Sai consciousness around the world were
Shri Manoj Kumar for doing the first film on Sai Baba.

Sudhir Dalvi the actor who portrayed Sai Baba.
Shri Jayant Sasane, Chairman of Sai Baba Sansthan for selfless contribution.
Shri Reddy for donating the gold throne for Shri Sai Baba at Shirdi.
At the outset, bhajans were sung by Jagjit Singh and a few others like Saxena Bandhu, Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, Suresh Wadekar and Shreya Gosal, when Shri Satpathyji arrived at the venue.
He was accorded a Red Carpet Welcome and on His way to His seat He interacted with the press and satisfied them on their queries like:
What was His motivation behind 200+ temples world wide?
How did He have a library with a collection of all the authentic books and documents reaching Him?
How are all the eminent singers lining up for singing bhajans composed by Him?
And many others.
Satpathyji in his usual light manner dispelled their doubts and seated Himself at the place reserved for Him.Shri Satpathyji was seated in the front row and Mr. Sudhir Dalvi and actor Jackie Schroff were seated along side.
Baba’s Murti was unveiled, Ms. Lara Datta whose family is an ardent devotee of Baba, performed the Aarti.

He then requested Satpathyji to take the dais and address the gathering. Gurujee spoke for about 10 minutes and the highlights of the speech are given as under:
“Samarpan” (total surrender) and “Bhakti” (devotion) are attributes given by God Himself. We should not be egoistic in taking pride in considering these qualities to be ours.
Shree Satpathyjee’s prayer to Shree Sai was for the empowerment of BABA’s children to enable them to beget HIS grace.
All devotees undergo similar emotions the world over when the Sadguru seats Himself in their hearts and starts awakening them.
Baba came as a spiritual experimentalist to bind together three religions- Islam, Hinduism and Christianity.
The future of Shirdi as it stands today was envisioned as far as in the year 1917 in a dream.
Sadgurus incarnate every 600 to 700 years on earth to establish a new faith. He cited chronological descent of various important pioneers every 600 years approximately. Sainath Maharaj emerged in the year 1800 and will remain for 700 years. By 2025 Saiism will establish itself and people will christen themselves after Him.
Sai was not a miracle man. Miracles were just offshoots of His saintliness. People from all over crowded around Him to fulfill their material desires. At times Baba would get disconcerted and had to leave Shirdi twice under such circumstances.
Baba also suffered discomfort and distress at the hands of devotees. Though out of love and devotion, they would do things that affected His physical disposition. Like, they would bathe Him with milk and feed Him curd, which aggravated His asthma and caused deterioration of health.
After intoxicating the audience with His nectar- filled words, Shri Satpathyji humbly thanked the organizers for having invited him.
